3. Epistemological Fundamentals

There can be no doubt that the whole success of exact Western Science was due to the fact that, since the time of the Greeks, a most rigorous process of eliminating and discarding highly legitimate problems was going on.

Only such problems were selected for investigation for which suitable means could be found to treat them in a controllable and rational manner – derived from the principles of classic logic.
